Dr. Bertini is a board certified urologist who started practice in 1987. Just prior to establishing his practice he completed his urology residence at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston where he also completed his medical school education and now holds a faculty position in the Department of Surgery, Division of Urology.
His practice is primary based in downtown Houston, but he also sees patients at The Institute for Rehabilitation & Research in the Texas Medical Center as well at Gulf Coast Urology’s Clear Lake office and once a month in Baytown.
Dr. Bertini trains urology residents and medical students, also holding a teaching appointment at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. He currently holds medical leadership positions on a hospital’s board of directors and a large multi-specialty independent practice association.
Away from medicine Dr. Bertini holds leadership positions on two not-for-profit organizations boards, one dealing with rail transportation and the other on women’s artist initiatives.
Dr. R. Robert Dhir is a board-certified urologic surgeon whose practice serves patients in downtown Houston as well as the Clear Lake/Webster/League City area. He earned his undergraduate and medical degrees from Georgetown University and was awarded honors in pre-medical studies, urology, orthopedics, and ophthalmology during tenure in Washington, DC.
Dr. Dhir served as chief resident during his urologic surgical residency at University of Texas at Houston/MD Anderson Cancer Center, in addition to completing his internship in general surgery. He continues to train surgical residents at the downtown campus and at The Institute for Rehabilitation and Research (TIRR).
With nearly 10 years of clinical medicine experience, Dr. Dhir’s expertise includes stone disease, BPH, urologic cancers (kidney, bladder, prostate), and Men’s Health (infertility, erectile dysfunction, low testosterone).
Dr. Harris is a board certified urologist, starting practice in 1989, first practicing in Beaumont, Texas and joining Gulf Coast Urology in 1993. Originally from Dayton, Texas approximately 35 miles southeast of Houston, Dr. Harris attended the University of Texas at Austin and The University of Texas Southwestern Medical School at Dallas. He completed his Urologic training at The University of Colorado School of Medicine in Denver, Colorado. He is on the clinical teaching faculty of the University of Texas Medical School at Houston, Department of Surgery, Division of Urology.
Dr. Harris’ primary office is located in downtown Houston. He also sees and treats patient at The Institute for Rehabilitation and Research (TIRR) in the Texas Medical Center as well Baytown and Clear Lake, Texas.
Dr. Harris actively involved in the teaching and training of Urologic residents from the University of Texas Medical School at Houston. He is active in medical leadership at St. Joseph Medical Center as a member of the Medical Staff Executive Committee, Chairman of the Department of Surgery and Department of Urology.
He has over 25 years of experience in surgical management cancer of the urologic system to include kidney, bladder, prostate, testicle, treatment of urologic stone disease, treatment of male incontinence following treatment of prostate cancer, impotence, medical and surgical management of prostatic obstruction, female incontinence and voiding dysfunction.
